Variable Synchronize Job History Threshold

Hello, I recently received assistance from support regarding the synchronize module of groupID hanging the console. The technician was very helpful and pointed out that we had almost 20,000 files in each of the GroupID synchronize folders for each Job. 

We need to run sync very frequently and it would be great if there was a way to limit job history either by number of jobs or time.
