Workflow Approvers - are these AND or OR cases?

When setting the approver(s) for a workflow, it's not clear whether it will require approval from any one approver or from all approvers.  In particular, I wonder about these cases - 

If approvers is set to:

1. ManagerAndAdditionalManager - Does this require BOTH managers to approve?  What if a user has multiple Additional Managers?
2. A group - Does this require approval of any ONE group member, or of ALL group members?
3. Multiple - If multiple approvers are set (e.g. 3 individual users, or 2 Groups, or Manager + a Group), does that require approval from each approver, or any one approver?

  Hello Steve,

  Our Workflow is linear, we do not have option of multiple approvers at the moment. Where ever there are multiple approvers for a workflow, that denotes any one can approve.

  When one approver takes an action (approve or deny), all the owners are notified about it.

  Thanks for the response.  In this case, I'd suggest that the options "ManagerAndAdditionalManager" and "OwnerAndAdditionalOwner" are misleading.  Those should say OR, not AND.  (i.e. "ManagerOrAdditionalManager")
