Restore Clickable Manager Attribute in Self-Service (Disappeared in 8.0)

In version 7 and earlier the Manager attribute on a user's properties was a clickable link that would open the Manager's record. In version 8 the Manager displays in a small widget - clicking on it only takes you to the dialog for changing the manager. We really liked being able to open the Manager's record without having to go back to the User search page, search for the Manager, and open the Manager's record. Please make the Manager widget clickable such that it will directly open the Manager's property page.
