GroupID Admin Shell cmdlets usable?

I keep coming across issues with the GroupID Admin Shell cmdlets where it appears they may not be in a fully baked/released state. 

For example, the parameters in the actual cmdlet do not match what is being shown in the man/help output.  And more troubling is, at least for the Remove-GroupMember cmdlet, the "-whatif" param doesn't appear to work at all, and instead the action is performed as if there wasn't any -whatif param passed.

So what is the actual support expectations for the cmdlets, and should we use them on our Production systems?
