UI Experience for Adding a User to Multiple Groups
My organization has a team which receives tens of requests / day to add different users to multiple groups. For example, "Please add UserA to Group1, Group2, Group3, Group4, Group5...GroupN."
Using the self-service portal, adding each user to each group one at a time is tedious. It would be much easier and more efficient if a user could be added to multiple groups at once.
There are multiple ways this could look, but one example which minimizes code changes is something like this: In the My Groups window, the user could select multiple groups (functionality available today) and click a button which says, "Add User to Group." That could then invoke the same experience (available today) seen when clicking the "Add" button in the Member tab of an individual group - a quick search field with an optional "Advanced" link that brings up the "Find Dialog - [Members]" dialog in which (potentially) multiple users could be added to the groups.
For reference, this feature request came out of support case 25330.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your continued engagement and valuable feedback. As we discussed today in the remote session and demo, the functionality you mentioned is indeed available in the GroupID Self-Service portal. However, its visibility and discoverability may not be immediately apparent.
To access this feature, we followed the steps below:
- Navigate to the Self-Service portal.
- Instead of clicking on the user's name directly from the quick search functionality, perform a search for the desired user. Simply hit enter after typing the user's name to access the search results page.
- On the search results page, you will find an option that allows you to add the user to multiple groups simultaneously.
I really appreciate your understanding and patience as we work towards making this option more user-friendly, especially when using the "Groups" functionality level, as the search in that context is limited to Group search only, and user search can only be performed using quick search.

Thank you, Mark.
I have taken note of your suggestion to include the feature of removing the user from multiple groups as well.
If you have any other thoughts or ideas related to this feature or any other aspect of GroupID, please feel free to share them. We appreciate your feedback.
