Renaming Groups Consistently

When static security groups are created in GroupID, the group name is used in the following attributes:

cn
displayName
name
sAMAccountName

It would be very helpful is there was a rename feature in GroupID which allowed group owners/additional owners to rename the groups and made the new name consistent across all of those attributes.

  A powershell script can be a solutions. Let us look into this.

  Hello Daanish,

  Not to discourage you from going down this path, but a key benefit of GroupID in our organization is the ease-of-use of the web interface.  Requiring our users to run a PowerShell script to rename a group is a definite detractor.

  That's true, especially for end-users. We will be able to achieve this in the next version, in a different but smart way. Change of all the attributes will be seamless to endusers.
